Product Description
The PDB Type Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamp is designed for the horizontal lifting and handling of steel plates. Manufactured from high-quality low-carbon alloy steel, the series covers working load limits up to 10 metric tonnes.
The stated working load limit is based on two clamps used as a pair. For lifting operations, the clamps must be used in pairs or as a four-clamp set; a suitable lifting beam should be used when handling larger steel plates. Each clamp is proof tested to twice its rated working load limit.
The spring-loaded locking mechanism keeps the clamp engaged when unloaded, while the gripping force increases in proportion to the applied load during lifting. The rated capacity must never be exceeded, and shock or impact against the suspended plate must be avoided. The clamp is designed for durable performance and straightforward operation.
