When pressure is applied, the affected area develops a red color. The intensity of the red color changes according to the amount of pressure, making uneven pressure, contact points, and pressure distribution easy to identify at a glance.

Film Structure
Lucky Pressure Measurement Film consists of two sheets: an L film coated with a microencapsulated color-forming material and a K film coated with a color-developing material. To perform a pressure test, place the coated surfaces of the two films face-to-face.

The coated sides of the L film and K film should face each other during testing.
Working Principle
When pressure is applied, the microcapsules in the color-forming layer rupture. The released colorless dye reacts with the color developer on the K film, producing a visible red image. The microcapsules are manufactured in different sizes and strengths and are distributed uniformly across the film. As a result, the developed color density corresponds to the pressure applied: greater pressure generally produces a deeper red color.
How to Use the Film
- Cut the L film and K film to the required size.
- Place the coated sides of the two films face-to-face.
- Insert the paired films between the surfaces to be tested.
- Apply pressure under the required operating or test conditions.
- Remove the films and evaluate the red image. A darker and more uniform color generally indicates stronger and more evenly distributed pressure.

How to Interpret the Result
A uniform red image indicates relatively even pressure distribution. Darker areas represent higher pressure, while lighter or uncolored areas may indicate lower pressure, insufficient contact, or uneven loading.

Important: Select the appropriate pressure range for your application and follow the recommended testing conditions. Results may be affected by temperature, humidity, pressure duration, and the condition of the contact surfaces.
