Product Overview
The American-Type Wide Body Shackle is designed for heavy-duty lifting and rigging applications. Its wide bow provides increased sling-bearing area, while the forged alloy-steel body and heat-treated pin deliver reliable strength across working load limits from 7 to 300 metric tons.
Product Features
- The shackle body is forged from high-strength alloy steel. Both the body and pin are quenched and tempered, with a powder-coated surface.
- Proof load is tested at twice the specified working load limit.
- Sample units undergo 20,000-cycle fatigue testing at 1.5 times the working load limit.
- Every shackle undergoes 100% magnetic particle inspection.
- The minimum breaking load is five times the working load limit.
