Fast Response in a Space-Efficient Layout
A 7.5 kW servo motor with holding brake drives an R-series parallel-shaft gearbox. The coaxial packaging reduces width, while a hoop-style rope guide helps control winding. Torque mode can be used as part of a tension-control system when paired with suitable force feedback.

The source specifies 50 m of rope but separately gives 35 m as drum capacity. Treat 35 m as the maximum drum value until the winding arrangement and usable travel are confirmed.

High-Speed System Design
At the published rope speed, guarding and access control are essential. The finished machine should include overspeed detection, controlled braking, upper and lower limits, rope-retention features and an emergency stop. Constant motor torque does not produce constant rope tension as drum radius changes; use calibrated load feedback where tension accuracy matters.
