A mobile large-capacity reel for ship-to-shore power cable deployment, retrieval and organized storage at ports, terminals and shipyards. Final drum geometry, drive, controls and protection are configured around the actual cable, rope or hose system.

Engineering Note

The source incorrectly labels a 30–200 m cable-length range as “load capacity” and elsewhere shows rope speed as both 15–24.5 m/min and 24.5 m/min. Motor power also appears only in a later case summary. Confirm cable mass, pull, speed, electrical rating and complete slip-ring specification before quotation.

Final selection must also define duty cycle, ambient conditions, guarding, emergency stopping, anchorage and applicable local standards. Not intended for personnel lifting unless separately engineered and certified.
