Nylon Threaded Rods for Casing Spacer Ring Closure
These Nylon 6 threaded rods form the final connection between the two end units of a modular casing spacer ring. After the spacer segments have been assembled and wrapped around the carrier pipe, three threaded rods are installed across the open ends of the ring.
Used with matching nylon nuts and washers, the rods draw the end units together and secure the complete spacer ring firmly around the pipe. Their purpose is to close and tighten the spacer assembly while maintaining even pressure across the connection points.

Function and Benefits
- Provides the final closure between the two end segments of the casing spacer ring.
- Three connection points distribute tightening force evenly across the width of the ring.
- Threaded adjustment allows the spacer assembly to be fitted securely around the carrier pipe.
- Nylon construction maintains the metal-free design of the spacer system and will not corrode.
- Matching washers spread pressure over the spacer end units during tightening.

Installation Procedure
Assemble the required spacer units and position the complete ring around the carrier pipe.
Fit one washer and one nut onto one end of each of the three threaded rods.
Pass the three rods through the aligned holes in the two end units of the spacer ring.
Install the remaining washers and nuts onto the opposite ends of the rods.
Tighten the nuts gradually and evenly so the end units are drawn together without twisting the ring.
Continue until the spacer ring is seated firmly and evenly around the carrier pipe.
Installation note: Tighten all three connection points progressively and evenly. Maximum recommended tightening torque: 3.0-3.2 N·m. Do not overtighten. These rods are spacer-ring closure components and must not be used as fixed pipe anchors or independent load-bearing fasteners.
