Product Overview
The SL Forged Drum Lifting Clamp is designed for lifting and handling steel drums, particularly when drums need to be raised and transported in an upright position. The clamp hooks attach securely beneath the rim of the drum, while the chain assembly provides a central lifting point for connection to a crane or hoist.
The lifting components are forged from high-quality low-carbon alloy steel for strength, toughness and dependable performance. Its compact construction makes the clamp easy to attach and helps provide stable drum handling during lifting operations.
The SL1 model has a working load limit of 1 metric ton and uses a 6 × 18 mm lifting chain. Each lifting assembly is proof tested at twice its rated working load.
Operating Instructions
Position the drum on a stable, level surface. Attach the lifting hooks evenly beneath the drum rim and confirm that each hook is fully engaged before applying the load. Connect the master link to suitable lifting equipment, then raise the drum slowly to verify that it remains balanced and secure.
