Non-Rail Gantry Crane
A non-rail gantry crane is a practical lifting solution for workshops and job sites where a permanent overhead crane or rail-mounted gantry crane cannot be installed. The crane travels directly on the floor, eliminating the need for fixed runway rails.
With capacities available up to 20 tonnes and an adjustable-height structure, the crane can be configured around the available roof height, lifting task and working area.
- Floor-running design with no fixed rail system
- Capacity available up to 20 t
- Adjustable or telescopic leg options
- Manual or powered height adjustment
- Suitable for workshops, assembly areas and temporary projects
Adjustable Leg Height
The telescopic leg design allows the crane height to be adapted to different buildings and lifting conditions. When the crane is unloaded, the legs can typically extend by approximately 20%–40% of the original height, providing greater effective lifting height than a fixed-height gantry.

The final adjustment range and structure are engineered according to the required capacity, span, lifting height and site conditions.
Choose the Operating Method
Manual Winch Adjustment
Two manual winches raise the telescopic legs smoothly when the crane is unloaded. Once the required height is reached, locking pins are inserted to secure the structure.
- Simple mechanical operation
- Normally three adjustment positions
- Typical position interval: approximately 500–700 mm
- Suitable where electrical power is unavailable or unnecessary
Electric or Manual Screw Adjustment
A screw-driven system provides finer height control without relying on fixed pin positions. It is especially useful in confined spaces where the crane must operate close to the available roof height.
- Fine, millimetre-level height positioning
- No locking-pin position limits
- Manual or electric drive options
- Maximises usable lifting height in low-clearance areas
