Terminology: Minimum headroom refers to the shortest distance between the upper and lower hooks. Dimensions A and B correspond to the product dimensional drawing. Longer lifting heights require additional load and hand chain and may increase the total unit weight.

Operating Guidelines

  • Always confirm that the rated capacity of the hoist is greater than or equal to the load being lifted.
  • Operate the hand chain manually only. Do not use powered equipment or extension devices to pull the hand chain.
  • Inspect the hooks, safety latches, load chain, hand chain and operating mechanism before each use.
  • Make sure the load chain hangs vertically and is free from twists, knots or crossed links.
  • Seat both the suspension hook and load hook correctly. Never apply a load directly to the hook tip.
  • Pull the hand chain smoothly and evenly. Stop operation if unusually high resistance or abnormal movement is detected.
  • Never allow personnel to stand or work beneath a suspended load.
  • Do not use the hoist for lifting, supporting or transporting people.
