The QS Type Double-Plate Horizontal Lifting Clamp is designed for the horizontal lifting and handling of steel plates, I-beams and other structural steel sections. Manufactured from high-quality low-carbon alloy steel, the range offers working load limits from 4 to 10 metric tonnes per pair.

For lifting operations, the clamps must be used as a matched pair or as a four-clamp set. A four-clamp arrangement must be connected to a correctly rated lifting beam. The stated working load limit is the maximum combined load for two clamps used with a 60° included angle between the sling legs, and the proof load is twice the rated load. The rated capacity must never be exceeded. An automatic release function allows the clamps to disengage after the load has been safely landed.

A roller at the top of the clamp helps protect the wire rope from damage, while the broad contact area improves stability during handling. The pointed triangular toe makes the clamp easier to position in confined spaces. Its robust construction provides reliable durability and straightforward operation.
