Spark-Resistant Construction
The hoist incorporates aluminum-bronze and beryllium-bronze components, while the outer housing is manufactured from H62 copper alloy. These materials are selected to reduce the possibility of mechanical sparks generated by friction or impact during lifting operations.
The transmission gears are heat treated to improve surface hardness and wear resistance, helping provide reliable mechanical performance during repeated lifting and lowering operations.
Manual Chain Drive
Lifting is controlled by pulling the hand chain, which rotates the hand chain wheel and transfers motion through the friction disc, ratchet, brake mechanism and internal gear train.
The gear system drives the load sheave, allowing the load chain to raise or lower the suspended load smoothly and in a controlled manner. Because no electrical drive is required, the hoist provides a simple lifting solution for locations where powered lifting equipment may not be suitable.
