CD-Type Vertical Plate Lifting Clamp
The CD-Type Vertical Plate Lifting Clamp is designed for lifting a single steel plate in the vertical position. It is manufactured from high-quality low-carbon alloy steel and fitted with a spring-loaded locking mechanism that maintains contact with the plate before the full lifting force is applied.
Rated capacities range from 1 to 8 tonnes. The working load limit is based on one clamp, and the clamp may be used individually or as a matched pair when required by the lifting arrangement. Only one steel plate may be lifted at a time; stacked plates must never be lifted together.
Before lifting, move the lifting-eye handle upward to engage the spring-loaded mechanism. Once the plate has been fully lowered and supported, move the handle downward to release the spring tension before removing the clamp. The locking mechanism grips the plate in its unloaded state, while the clamping force increases in proportion to the suspended load. The flexible handle also allows the clamp to accommodate a wider range of lifting directions.
Each clamp is proof tested at twice its rated load. Never exceed the rated capacity, and prevent the suspended plate from striking surrounding objects during lifting or transport.
