Engineering Note
The source alternates between “rope,” “cable” and “hose.” This page treats the reference machine as a hose reel. Hose pressure, bend radius, swivel rating, fluid compatibility, coating system and marine certification must be approved for the actual project.
Final selection must also define duty cycle, ambient conditions, guarding, emergency stopping, anchorage and applicable local standards. Not intended for personnel lifting unless separately engineered and certified.
