Engineering Note

A gangway can carry people, but this standard winch must not be marketed as personnel-lifting equipment without a certified complete gangway system. IP56 and explosion-protected enclosure claims apply only with matching documentation. Worm resistance is not an independent safety brake.

Final selection must define line pull by drum layer, rope specification, duty cycle, brake holding load, anchorage, corrosion system, guarding and applicable marine or local standards. Not intended for personnel lifting unless separately engineered and certified.
