Multi-Rope Stage Batten Winch
A purpose-built lifting winch for stage battens, lighting bars, scenery, curtains, LED screens and other suspended equipment that requires multiple fixed rope exit points.
Product Overview
This compact stage-rigging winch uses a single grooved drum to manage multiple wire ropes. Each rope exits from a defined position, allowing several suspension points to move together while helping the suspended load remain level and stable.
The system is suitable for theaters, auditoriums, performance venues, exhibition spaces and other facilities requiring controlled overhead lifting. The winch can be engineered around the required load, travel, lifting speed, rope arrangement, exit direction and control method.
Fixed-Position Multi-Rope Output
A machined multi-groove drum provides organized rope routing and supports synchronized movement across multiple lifting points.
Dual Electromagnetic Brakes
Rapid brake engagement helps hold the load when the drive stops and adds redundancy to the load-holding system.
Mechanical Travel Limits
Adjustable upper and lower limit settings help keep the mechanism within its intended operating range.
Position Feedback
An encoder supports accurate positioning, repeatable stopping points and stable automated operation.
Positive Load Holding
The drive and braking arrangement is designed to prevent unintended reverse movement when the winch is stopped.
PLC Control Available
An optional PLC control cabinet can coordinate operating sequences, interlocks, limits and automated positioning.
