Engineering Note
The source calls this both a lifting winch and a cable reel and claims up to 500 m capacity. Drum capacity depends on cable diameter, bend radius and winding pattern; the 500 m figure must be verified against a specific drum drawing. Do not use cable-reel ratings as suspended-load ratings.
Final selection must also define duty cycle, ambient conditions, guarding, emergency stopping, anchorage and applicable local standards. Not intended for personnel lifting unless separately engineered and certified.
